周国逸,男,汉族,1963年5月生,中共党员,博士研究生学历,理学博士学位学位,教授,博导。

个人简介
周国逸,男,1963年生,1989年获博士学位,二级研究员,国家杰出青年基金获得者和中科院“百人计划”入选学者。现为中科院华南植物园生态系统生态学研究组首席研究员,鼎湖山森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站站长。

研究领域
研究领域:生态系统生态学,森林生态水文学

  以人类社会对水资源稳定而持续供应、温室气体吸收与排放平衡的需求为驱动,将森林生态系统作为调控媒介,阐述其不同阶段(造林→成熟森林→地带性森林)所涉及的关键水碳循环过程及其机理,为人类社会和环境可持续发展提供科学支撑。主要贡献如下:

  1. 阐明森林对产水量影响的全球模式并论证科学的森林恢复并不损害水资源供应

  2. 发现成熟森林土壤可持续积累有机碳并阐述其机理,论证全球“碳失汇”的可能去向和天然林保护的必要性

  3. 发现全球环境变化背景下常绿阔叶林群落的变化趋势并阐述其机理,为国家应对全球变化决策提供支撑
