害虫杀虫剂相关成果:
获得对小菜蛾、斜纹夜蛾等鳞翅目害虫特异性强,致死率高(温室喷洒致死率达100%)的脂肽类杀虫剂,及其修饰衍生物和重组细菌。作用机制:主要抑制害虫α-淀粉酶活性,优点:高效、环保、无污染;
获得靶向农业害虫免疫系统的核酸杀虫剂:针对小菜蛾、草地贪夜蛾、斜纹夜蛾等鳞翅目害虫免疫关键基因,获得靶向抑制且紊乱害虫免疫系统的重组dsRNA/miRNA细菌和虫生真菌,显著提高了微生物杀虫剂对害虫的防控效率。作用机制:使害虫免疫系统紊乱。优点:高效、绿色环保、无污染;
获得靶向农业害虫免疫系统的抗体杀虫剂:针对小菜蛾、草地贪夜蛾、斜纹夜蛾等鳞翅目害虫和白蚁等的免疫关键基因/蛋白及中肠消化酶基因/蛋白,利用生物信息学分析其抗原簇,并预测了其潜在结合蛋白,利用噬菌体展示等技术,获得靶向抑制且紊乱害虫免疫系统的重组单链抗体细菌和虫生真菌,显著抑制了害虫免疫反应及中肠消化能力。提高了微生物杀虫剂对害虫的防控效率。作用机制:使害虫免疫系统紊乱。优点:高效、绿色环保、无污染;

仪器设备精良,科研经费充足。
昆虫分子免疫团队围绕环境微生物-农作物-害虫免疫三者之间互作开展工作,主要从事害虫与植物/微生物互作及协同进化研究,方向为昆虫免疫与病原物的互作机制。重点挖掘昆虫体内肽类抗菌物质,及害虫与植物/微生物互作通路及调控非编码基因,为农作物病虫害生物防治及核酸农药的研制提供新靶标和新思路。
2005年起,一直和美国密苏里(堪萨斯)州立大学生物学院的余小强教授(博士)进行如下合作:1、鳞翅目昆虫免疫和发育相关基因功能的研究;2、昆虫抗菌肽基因的体外改造和表达;3、昆虫抗菌肽基表达调控信号传导机制的RNAi研究。与余小强教授合作已经在国外杂志上发表文章4篇,并有博士研究生的联合培养(美国培养1-2年)。
2013年开始与加拿大University of Western Ontario(西安大略大学)生物化学系的 Shawn Li 教授进行免疫蛋白磷酸化和糖基化对信号传导的启动机制及免疫蛋白晶体结构解析的研究。
