2005-2009 年于香港中文大学修读本科 (全额奖学金),主修生物化学,辅修生物。成绩优异,获得联合书院毕业生最高荣誉明德奖 (2009)、香港尤德爵士纪念奖学金 (2009)、加州理工学院香港本科生科研奖学金 (2008)、生物化学系梦想计划海外交流奖学金 (2007)、曾肇添奖学金 (2007)、冯秉芬纪念奖学金 (2006)、汇丰银行香港奖学金 (2009)、东亚银行奖学金 (2007)等;并收录至理学院院长荣誉录 (2006-2009)、联合书院院长荣誉录 (2006/2007/2009)。2009 年 6 月毕业获得理学学士学位 (甲等荣誉)。

2011-2015 年于新加坡南洋理工大学生物科学院修读博士学位 (全额奖学金),导师刘定祥教授。博士论文题目为 Molecular Characterization of Cellular Stress Response during Coronavirus Infection。以传染性支气管炎病毒 IBV 为模型,研究冠状病毒感染激活宿主细胞的内质网应激反应、未折叠蛋白反应和丝裂原活化蛋白激酶等信号通路的分子机理,深入分析这些通路对病毒复制、感染诱导的细胞凋亡、细胞自噬、促炎症反应等的调控作用。2014 年在第十三届国际冠状病毒研讨会作口头报告。2015 年 6 月毕业获得博士学位 (Ph.D.)。

2016-2017 年在澳门大学健康科学院参与乳腺癌转移机制的细胞生物学研究。利用基于荧光共振能量转移的生物探针,对循环肿瘤细胞的凋亡进行机理研究。

2017 年 6 月加入华南农业大学群体微生物研究中心,目前正积极开展冠状病毒的分子生物学和病毒-宿主互作的相关研究。近 10 年来对冠状病毒感染诱导的细胞应激反应和 E 蛋白离子通道活性等学科的热点难点进行深入研究,在Annual Reviews of Microbiology, Cell Death & Diseases, Journal of Virology, Frontiers in Microbiology 等病毒学、细胞生物学领域的国际知名学术期刊发表 SCI 论文 24 篇(其中第一作者或通讯作者 20 篇),累计影响因子约101,总引用次数>1200,h-index = 16.
