杨杰,男,博士,副研究员,硕导。江西省优秀博士论文获得者、广州市“珠江科技新星”、美国密歇根州立大学访问学者。主要致力于猪复杂经济性状的遗传解析工作,先后主持国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金重点项目、广东省科技计划、广东省自然科学基金、华南农业大学青年科技人才专项基金等项目;获得授权国家发明专利20项,并在PLoS Genetics、BMC Genomics、Animal Genetics、Frontiers in Genetics和Frontiers in Microbiology等国际知名学术期刊发表学术论文40余篇。

研究领域
(1)猪重要经济性状的遗传解析。采用整合基因组、转录组、蛋白质组及表观遗传学的多组学研究手段,结合不同的统计分析模型,鉴别影响猪重要经济性状、遗传缺陷的关键基因,并结合细胞实验、小鼠实验及基因组编辑技术对关键基因开展功能验证,进而结合温氏集团进行相应的分子育种及专门化品系培育;
(2)消化道微生物及环境微生物影响猪重要经济性状的遗传机制。采用宏基因组测序技术及16S rRNA扩增子技术,鉴别影响猪重要经济性状或复杂遗传疾病性状的消化道微生物及环境微生物,综合多组学研究手段及无菌小鼠移植技术,对标志微生物开展下游功能研究,从分子层面解析微生物影响猪重要经济性状的遗传机理。

以教书育人为重要的人生目标,主要从事《生物统计附试验设计》、《养猪学》的教学工作。
指导学生情况
鼓励培养学生们的独立思考能力,尽最大可能引导学生们热爱生活、爱上畜牧学科。鼓励研究生放开想象、深度思考,大力支持学生们针对感兴趣的科学问题,深入猪遗传育种的不同领域;先后指导或协助指导博、硕士研究生30余名。
我的团队
我所在的团队—国家生猪种业工程技术研究中心(以下简称“中心”),是依托于华南农业大学和广东温氏食品集团股份有限公司组建的国家级研究开发平台,2013年4月获科技部立项,2017年9月顺利通过验收。“中心”长期致力于种猪分子遗传改良及专门化品系培育工作,近年来,课题组共承担农业部转基因重大专项和科技部“863”等国家级和省级项目87项;先后主持获得了国家科技进步二等奖1项、广东省科学技术奖一等奖2项、广东省农业技术推广奖一等奖2项、全国农牧渔业丰收奖农业技术推广合作奖1项、大北农科技奖一等奖1项和中国产学研合作成果一等奖1项等;另有“华农温氏I号猪”、“温氏WS501猪”2个通过国家畜禽新品种(配套系)审定的配套系。实验室现有使用面积1500平方米,现有猪遗传育种方向科研人员包括吴珍芳教授、蔡更元研究员、李紫聪教授、杨化强副研究员、杨杰副研究员、洪林君副教授、顾婷讲师、郑恩琴高级实验师、徐铮实验师、黄思秀助理研究员。“中心”拥有完善的动物遗传学、分子生物学和基因组学研究设备,仪器设备价值1600 余万元。另有1个国家核心育种场、2个省级原种场及1个科研猪场作为育种基地,科研环境良好。
