研究方向:(1)成体干细胞(肠道干细胞和骨骼肌卫星细胞);(2)蛋白质代谢(氨基酸转运、感应和蛋白质合成);(3)功能性饲料添加剂。
目前主持十四五重点研发计划中美国际合作项目1项、国家基金面上项目2项,广东省国际合作项目1项,十四五重点研发计划项目子课题1项。先后完成国家基金重点项目, NSFC-广东联合基金重点项目、国家基金面上项目;十三五重点研发计划项目子课题2项、973项目子课题2项;广东省重大科技专项、广东省基金重点项目、广东省国际合作项目、948重点项目课题、动物福利行业专项课题、广东省科技计划项目、广东省教育厅重点项目、广州市国际合作项目、广州市科学研究项目等科研课题。2011年以来发表SCI论文80多篇,已授权发明专利10项,在审发明专利3项。建立分子营养实验室,共建“华农-快大猪营养研究中心”。
创建猪肠道干细胞-类器官培养体系,围绕呕吐毒素、大肠杆菌耐热肠毒素和PEDV等损伤猪肠道干细胞发育的机制及其营养干预,取得突破性进展,居于国际领先水平。
